But He was wounded for our transgressions,

A man once said to our pastor, “I wish I had found this church years ago. I would have saved thousands of dollars in therapy.”

Throughout the years, many people have come to Calvary Open Door brokenhearted. Many had been rejected by family. Many were abandoned by friends. And sadly, many had been turned away by the very church in which they grew up.

But because we made sound teaching, prayer, unconditional love, and positive affirmation available to them, we have had the blessing of witnessing lives that were changed. Many of them overcame the sense of hopelessness and helplessness they had when first walking through the doors! We take no credit for any of the positive testimonials we have heard about improvements in individuals’ lives. All the glory belongs to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, by whose power all of our lives have been changed!

It is our prayer that every person will find the same healing power that Christ Jesus has afforded many others throughout the years. May viewing this website and following its links add encouragement to your life, and may that encouragement in Him bring healing to your heart, mind, and soul.
